Hills: Week One

Today is day one of my planned five week program of hill repeat sessions. I found the perfect hill at the perfect distance from my house – it’s a highway overpass over the freeway going to Toronto, so I get to watch (in the very early morning) lines of commuters’ lights going in toward The Big Smoke. Not exactly idyllic, but it’ll do.

3.5K warmup, 2 x 400m, 3.5K cooldown. 10C and overcast. Very nice!

Last night, I went looking for a treadmill. I think I’ve found one that gives me the right combination of features, durability, and price, so will make a decision soon.
