Hills: Week Two

This morning was my second day (week two) of hill repeats. An easy 3.5K warmup, then four hills of 400 meters each, then an easy 3.5K cooldown run. It’s a pleasant and relatively painless way to build strength in my legs and learn good stride technique too.

It’s beginning to get cooler. This morning, the temperature was 0C. But the skies were clear, and, because we’re back to standard time, it was light when I set out for my run at 6:45 AM. Almost anything’s better than running in the dark and cold of a winter morning, so I’m counting my belssings while I can!
