8K Interval Run

I had a really good 8K interval session this morning, barefoot on the treadmill. Ran strongly and felt great, so I think I’m back on form.

It’s always hard to hit a bump in a training, however slight. And always gratifying to come back quickly, with no after-effects. I think the lack of energy I felt in the past two days may simply have been a matter of biorhythms (though I don’t know a great deal about those), or simply the delayed effect of running two back-to-back long days last weekend.

Anyway, I’m happy to feel good about running again. Especially as I have a 32K run on Sunday to look forward to. Not to mention that next week’s interval sets are quite a ramp-up from what I’ve been doing so far.
