Workout Runs

Two harder runs in the past couple of days – 6K yesterday and 10K today. Both tempo paced, and both barefoot on the treadmill. They were hard work.

It’s only 6 1/2 weeks until the Around the Bay 30K race, so I need to continue to do runs like this, as well as steady pace runs, LSD pace runs, and core strength and weight work. It’s part of the work of training for a race, but it’s part of the joy as well.

A 6K steady pace run tomorrow, then an early morning set of stretching, core strength work, and light weights. As I said in yesterday’s post, I’ve found my groove.
