Celebration Feet

Early this morning, when I set out on my 16K barefoot run, it was 12C. Cloudy and windy, to be sure, but 12C. That’s pretty good for the middle of November here in Ontario. It was good to run in November in bare feet, knickers, and a light-weight top. My feet were happy.

  1. 12C?? I’m quite jealous. Here in Sweden the temperature is dropping to almost 0C during the night and just a couple degrees celsius above during the day.

Not too late to be barefoot running yet though. 😉

    1. Well, you’re a good deal farther north than I am! Our weather is a touch milder than is the norm, but it won’t be like that for long – so I’m getting all the barefoot runs I can.

You’re a good man to be running barefoot at just over 0C!

  2. We’ve had similar weather here in Michigan. This past weekend it almost reached 60F. Definitely not the norm, but I’m not complaining!

Thanks for a great blog. I’m not a barefoot runner, but am interested in it and enjoy reading about your running experiences.

    1. Thanks for those kind words, Megan. It’s good to have you here!

As for the weather, well, we can only enjoy it while it lasts, right? It’ll be cold soon enough!
